John and I "agree to disagree" on certain things. We both have highly competitive personalities, but I think we've learned to disagree more cordially.
He had the original idea for "Baker's Dozen" that has certainly given me a brand of sorts for articles, webcasts, etc. Back in 2004 I was putting together a draft of a .NET article with a number of loosely-related ideas. He read it and said, "why don't you call it a Baker's Dozen of tips". And so from there, roughly 60 articles, 30 webcasts, and god knows how many community/conference talks, all under the 13 tip format. Good think I don't suffer from Triskaidekaphobia :)
