I saw the same stats the other day (Dems 74%, etc). I personally question that number - we are seeing some Ds who will change their tune depending on the audience.

Remember that the current administration has a pattern of reaching out to Ds who speak negatively of Obama's plans to let them know the president isn't happy with the criticism.

There's a context here I will not drop - that the Democratic Senators up for re-election are avoiding talk of AHCA as much as possible - journalists on both sides of the political spectrum have noticed this.

When AHCA was first signed, yes, I agree it was nearly 100% based on party affiliation. When you have a bill that barely passed a democratic-majority in the House (and needed some last minute political promises) and didn't receive a single R vote, you cannot expect that will survive. (And I'd likely say the same thing about a law that not a single D would vote for)

As for Putin, you've raised that issue twice (his approval rating) and I cannot believe you are saying that with a straight face. If you're goal is to corner me into saying the comparison isn't fair to Obama, you really underestimate. :)
