>Again, I fail to see why what you perceive to be failures by the prosecutor and judge in a Florida trial (I accept that- I didn't follow the trial) have anything to do with a Brooklyn preacher.
>If they were stupid enough to listen to him, or anyone else for that matter, isn't that a problem for the people of Florida to handle?

Are you discounting the impact that public figures can have on legal/criminal proceedings that receives national attention? If not, then I'm sorry to say you are indeed "failing to see".

Take a look at the actions of Spike Lee - he tweeted what he thought was the home address of George Zimmerman. As it turns out, he had the wrong address, and at least a few of Lee's 240,000 followers made death threats to the family that lived at the address (and if memory serves me, there was some vandalism as well and the husband living at the house had to be hospitalized for stress/chest pains), and the family had to temporarily relocate.

So yes, there are people "stupid enough" to listen to things like this, and innocent people sometimes wind up paying a price. There's a responsibility that comes with being a Reverend Al or a Spike Lee (or a Rush Limbaugh) and it's a responsibility they just don't get.
