Yes, very good. A couple more links. First, Charles Ogletree wrote a book about the Henry Louis Gates arrest affair. The main book is very good, but what has stuck with me is an appendix with a hundred or so stories from upper-class and upper-middle-class black men about instances where they were treated differently than a similar white man would have been. These ranged from serious issues, like being stopped by police for driving their own car in their own neighborhood to trivial things, like being at a hotel for a black tie event and being mistaken for the valet or the waiter. Not all of the stories worked me. For example, there were a few about being mistaken for working in a store; I've had that happen myself, mostly when I was wearing a polo shirt. However, the overall impact of the appendix was lasting. It made me realize how ever-present the issues of race are for people of color. Here's a link (though I'm not actually buying from Amazon at the moment): http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&field-keywords=the%20presumption%20of%20guilt&index=blended&link_code=qs&sourceid=Mozilla-search&tag=mozilla-20

Then there's this on how the media presents white suspects and black victims: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/08/14/media-black-victims_n_5673291.html
