On the contrary. Capitalism as it's practiced in the US has been very good to me and to most of the people I know.
But that doesn't mean that it can't be better for a lot of people who for one reason or another haven't benefited.
Our brand of capitalism has changed a lot during the past 40 years. Massive tax reductions in the upper brackets along with a lot of other factors have shifted the concentration of wealth radically to a smaller number of people.

Spreading wealth more evenly is not only the right thing to do, it's the sensible thing to do.
Henry Ford wisely discerned that the more the more free time his people had, the more they'd want to drive cars and the more money they made, the more they could buy them.
So he shortened the work week, raised wages, and in a little while his parking lot was full of Model T's.

So what?
So, let's enjoy our system, but let's make it better.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
Malcolm Forbes, Sr.
