>You keep saying that last sentence, despite the fact that I indicated that my family had paid estate taxes on the death of my parents and that I expect my estate to be taxed and that I've acknowledged repeatedly that some of the proposals I favor are likely to cost me more money.
You are advocating for a threshold high enough that bulk your family's estate is exempt.
In effect, you pay small taxes, and people other than you and your peers pay large taxes.
Getting a paper cut while others get bled dry is not the same experience.
Yes, your proposals cost you more money.
I am sure my company president donated his own money to United Way.
He did not feel that was enough.
He wanted to take credit for donating my money as well.
As long as you advocate for taking unequally, you are being generous with somebody else's money.
