Political or not, it is very VERY clear that the guy broke the law. Perry abused his power by threatening Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg with a veto for Public Integrity Unit funding if she did not resign. That is abuse of power & illegal. As I said before he has no valid argument - he crossed the line. Now if he would of just kept his mouth shut and not made such a threat, then did the veto - he would be ok. But that is not what happened, he made the threat & then carried it out - thus he broke the law. Very simple.

He gave her the chance to resign. I would not want a drunken DA who has so little regard for human life that she has no qualms about getting behind the wheel when her blood alcohol is 3 times the legal limit. Apparently you find her behavior acceptable.
