>>- but even you have to acknowledge this statement is ridiculous.

Referring to the latest Commonwealth Study of ACA enrollees, published in July 2014:

- The majority said they were better off; 9% said they were worse off.

- The majority said their preferred doctor was covered; 5% said they weren't.

- Over 75% of those who enrolled in Medicaid or bought a plan in one of the marketplaces, said they were either "very" or "somewhat" satisfied with their new plan.

- Of the 60% who said they'd accessed care under their plan, 60% said they would not have been able to access that care previously.

- Democrat satisfaction tended to be higher, but about 75% of those identifying as Republicans said they were satisfied with their new health plans.

Seems to me that a majority of those who actually have used the system rather than just hearing something on the news, appear to be happy with it.

>> The simple reason is that too many major parts of the law have not gone into effect (due to delays in the employer mandate or effects that wouldn't be seen until the next tax year). According to one study, right now close to 60% of Americans say that the law hasn't affected them.

So if the majority of cancer patients report satisfaction with their treatment, that's a ridiculous statement because most Americans haven't had cancer treatment?
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
