These days I try to always tell the truth, as uncomfortable as it might be. There is a novel bubbling up in me and to do that right you have to be honest, no holds barred.

Best of luck to your daughter (I know her name but will not use it; the internet is forever) in kindergarten. There is no doubt she is going to be an ace. Good genes.

If you want any parental advice from me, which is doubtful, it's don't put too much pressure on her. She will flourish all on her own. She is launched.

And that's not even getting started about what it will be what she will be like as a teenager. You aren't necessarily going to like it. Trust me. If you have faith in her and let her go her own way she will do just fine. And trust me again -- it will be here before you know it. You probably think she will always be your little baby girl. She won't.
