>Is foxpro 2.5 and 2.6 for Dos and Windows have any problem with Y2K. If there is can u tell what it is. Thanks.

While both represent the DATE type properly, they do not implement rollover logic to deal with dates entered in two-digit year formats (IOW, if you have a DATE field on a screen and enter 01/01/00, it will be saved as January 1, 1900 by default.) If you use 4 digit year formats for entry and display at all times, the rollover ambiguities will take care of themselves from what I've seen in FP DOS 2.6 at least.

There are some third-party add-ons available that deal with the 2 digit format issue without requiring a great deal of recoding like Y2KFox which have been discussed in the past couple of weeks on UT - I'd try searching on Y2K for details.

DateHound from Digital Coyote (on of the participants in the UT Partnership Program) does a good job of analysing FP DOS problems and has a good, concise overview of the problem from the FoxPro perspective on their Web page (http://www.digitalcoyote.com/datehound.htm)
