I signed up when I became eligible and it has been a bad bet for me.
I've never even used half the annual premium in a year.
On the other hand my late wife used the annual premium several times a year, so for the family it was a good choice.
I'll keep it though. The downside is pretty steep if I drop it and am wrong.
It's a double whammy.
If I drop the plan, not only will I have to pay for the drug, but the price I pay might be as much as twice as much as the plan would pay.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
