Some (most) of the drivers are distributed as a part of the base ODBC distribution, which should have been installed when you installed VFP. VFP can connect via remote vias through pretty much any ODBC driver you install. The base kit includes xBase, Oracle, SQL Server, Paradox, Access, Excel and text files; others are available through the various database server vendors.

As far as dBASE files (at least up through dBASE IV), you should be able to open most xBase tables through the native USE command.
