I worked with Sybase and VFP 5.0a and found that there were many problems with ODBC drivers. We tried at least 3 different drivers, but were not completely satisfied with them - none of the drivers worked perfectly (it was a year ago). I believe that it is better to go with MS SQL Server. BTW, prototyping thas app we were working with Sybase SQL Anywhere 5.0, and didn't have any ODBC driver problems there.
