Oh I know, was just needling a bit.

They're compiled into the CLR at the time they're created, so plans are defined at create time as opposed to invocation time.

Again, it's somewhat of a niche feature, one where you definitely have to hit a sweet spot. But when you hit it, the performance gains are significant.
