I don't think I ever thought about that until now. Hockey coaches and basketball coaches generally wear suits, NFL coaches either wear team polo/sports shirts or jackets (rarely suits)....and baseball is the only one where the managers/coaches wear a uniform.

And of course, Dusty Baker always wore arm/wristbands, even as a manager, prompting many to yell out, "Grab a bat, Dusty"
