Maybe, but then you're getting into expectations. Someone might have had a huge disconnect between what they're doing and where they want to be.
I'm sure you know the old line, "A Vision Without Execution Is an Hallucination"....well, I'm sure there's a corollary somewhere - execution without vision is certainly something less than desirable.
