In this case it's a comprehensive report based on a survey of Harvard Alumni whose experience crosses the globe, which if I understand correctly would be a slightly broader experience than yours. Apart from the unsustainable divisions they describe, they also point to falling competitive of US Inc., which is a terrible shame when the US used to be and easily still could be the one to beat.
