We get some real funnies on a customers site. Server 12 will stop users starting our exe on the server, those already in are fine. Network users are okay but RD users cannot start it. Wait a day and it clears itself. We also had a problem with UAC but think that the hardware company white listed the exe and it has been okay since.
We have 7-8 exe in a folder and 1 of them has the shield on it but it does nothing extra that the others don't do. It shows more date and updates more fields but all in the same tables. Only thing I could ever figure was that perhaps something in an ocx or support dll was causing it to be treated differently.
