>I've run across a strange problem that I'd like to share. I am using an ActiveX control called MapKit to display a country map. I have two forms in a formset and one is a search form and the other displays the activex map. Everything works fine, until you click on a drill down button to search another table for a particular code. For example to drilldown into a MODAL country code form (yes, it must stay model) to select the proper country code. When you remap the data after displaying any model screen over the active formset, the VFP 5.0 gives a the following message:

>Abnormal Program Termination.

>This happens at the THISFORM.Show() or when the Activate() method is run. Mapkit is a German product and I'm talking with them, but they do not seem to hurry about anything!

John,
I think there are edited methods in activex especially layer draw/redraw methods (I don't have mapkit so this is just assumption). If so try removing the code one by one from methods, to see if it's the case.
