Yes, unfortunately, there are people who game the system.
We had a policeman here in Hamilton who retired with a disability pension and was dumb enough to take a part as an actor in a Kung Fu movie.
Had he not been seen jumping around on film, he'd still be getting that pension.
He was prosecuted.
On the other hand there are good policemen who are injured and can't meet the physical demands of the job and they need to be considered.
