>We're thinking of making our next application usable on the web. We been hearing that VB is the best tool for the client interface via HTML but I still want to use the VFP database for the back. After hearing some discussion about the pros and cons of using ADOs with VFP we're not sure what to do. I don't want to invest time training someone in VB only to find there was no real advantage. We would like the flexibility to use the app only across the LAN as well. The functioality is not too complex for our needs but I want the widest range of tools possible. We need to be able to have the same access to data and services from multiple places via ISP connections. Probably on rented server space so miantenence is also key.

Well.. my first thought is to send you to the Defacto leader of Web development with VFP... www.west-wind.com ...

There are many ways to do this, and that site covers about all of them!

Plus, has a few products that can help you out.
