I recently read (though it's not new) Deborah Tannen's "Talking from 9 to 5" and it talks a lot about these issue.

I'm curious enough that I'm going to shell out 10 bucks and get the Kindle version of this.

I don't buy into any of the garbage (and it is garbage) that one gender gets into trouble for acting like how they perceive the other gender successfully conducts themselves, only to be ridiculed for it. It's lazy thinking and nothing more than a window dressing excuse for the actual sin of putting one's personality above one's work.

But I'm going to read this anyway.
