Nope. Can't do it LIKE is part of SQL.
However, once you understand how VFP does string comparison, you may not need it.
s1 = "Luis Santos"
s2 = "Luis"
? s1 = s2 * this is false
? s2 = s1 * this is true
? s1 == s2 * this is false
? s2 = "" * true
? s2 == "" * false
VFP compares strings up to the length of the string on the right. == means exactly equals.
