VSS allows concurrent modifications and merges.
IDE integration and checkin/checkout model are key to me. I strongly dislike the distributed model.
>>I also still have to figure out how to get it to merge; normally VSS or SoS use diff or windiff which shows changes, but the foxbin2prg info says it can do the compare and it can also do merges.

>FoxBin2Prg does not do compare or merge per-se, when I wrote that on documentation I mean that with the generated prg-style text you can do that with tools that allow this, as WinMerge or others.

>For merging, the key is that your SCM does not block concurrent modifications on the same component (VSS use old blocking model, and I think SoS too)
