During my recent job hunt. I was given a interesting timed test. They gave me a paper with a single routine written in 10 different software languages. The purpose was to identify the language the each variation of the routine was written in. I even surprised myself as to ease it was for me to identify them. Also, how similar some of the languages were, I completed the test in about 5 minutes, and only missed one, by missing the correct version.
