If you are using VFP 5, build a "NetSetup", which just puts all of the install files in one location, then you can zip that, send, unzip and run from the local drive of the remote computer, no network really needed. If you are using VFP 6, do a "WebSetup" which creates one big compressed .EXE which also does not require the web, as the name implies. The .exe expands itself somewhere (memory, temp drive, who knows?) installs the app, and cleans up what ever it expanded. Its very nice.
