Have you ever heard of The Big Dig?
If you haven't, you're lucky.
That was a federally financed highway project in Boston that was years behind schedule and way over budget.
The national news coverage was non-stop for several years.
If this project had gone in that direction, you might have heard about it.
When the government does things well, as you point out, we usually don't hear about it.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
