Call your surgeon and calmly lay out what you just said here. Your surgeon knows how your operation went and wants you to have a successful result so if you're not feeling it, you need to work together to figure out what to do next. If the advice is to stick it out a bit longer- then it's not what you want to hear, but it does take time for uncemented prostheses to settle. In exchange you expect an outcome profile that you can enjoy for years to come...

LOL!!! I was just joking about the rehab. I have a really great surgeon and I have not been taking more that the dose he has prescribed. As a matter of fact, I have been taking less than the prescribed dosage. I trust the guy and I am certain that if I were going to get addicted to pain killers, he would not prescribe them. I am just a big baby with no pain tolerance and I thought I would be running marathons after 11 weeks :) I'm not quite there yet.
