Has someone ever done some code to pull out recent entries from a Windows Event Viewer log? That would be on a Windows Server 2008. We are looking for additonal support as once deployed, we do not have much access to analyze those logs so if we could pull that out directly from the Web application, that would be useful.

I have done a lot of things with Event Viewer log in my framework. But, this is not support I currently have right now. I am looking to add that support. Before doing too far in that direction, I thought I would create a thread to see if someone already did that and things to consider.
