Most CC readers I've used (besides just the keyboard wedge style) have come with COM components that you can use to interface w/the reader. So they work from VFP just don't expect any sample code.

I think in the US they decided to go with Chip + Signature vs Chip + Pin - if it was chip + pin you'd definitely need to use a device that let the customer enter their PIN #. I don't know if there is a requirement for you to capture their signature electronically or not. I looked through the docs for the device I've currently got (an Ingenico iSC250) and I didn't see anything specific to the contactless cards so I'd expect that, from my app's point of view, it behaves the same as a normal card. That is, they wave the card by the device and it raises the same event that would be raised if they had swiped it (encryption and all). At least that's what I'd expect - reality might be they've got some convoluted way of getting this info. I'll shoot an e-mail off to Ingenico to see what's involved (since I know I'll have to do this sometime next year anyway).
