he was driving to the South of France (Narbonne) with his sister and my mother. Pulled off the autoroute at a rest stop south of Moulins where he had a massive heart attack. luckily for him there was a french paramedic unit parked up in the same rest area who kept him alive. He'd had a few warning signs . Chest pains while in Paris which he decided to combat by running up the stairs in the Metro. My brother and I went over to bring the car back as neither my mother or aunt could drive. I liked Moulins, a nice solid french town and as you say his care in France was excellent. Then back to the UK for a triple bypass.

had a few coffees in this place
