This is actually a way that VFP controls work differently than other Windows controls: when you click in the middle of an empty textbox, VFP puts the cursor at the place you clicked because essentially the textbox is full of spaces, while other Windows apps act like there's nothing in the textbox so clicking anywhere in it puts the cursor at the start of the textbox.
