Ok, it worked now. I changed the file to reference the local script (BTW, we're using an older version of jquery in our current project :() and re-loaded in IE where it worked. Then re-loaded in Google Chrome where it also worked although seems to now use CDN version.

So, I think I may try to now incorporate this into our project although I don't like the problem with colspan (I really want to span the footer on a few columns).
