Tried that (alternating with 7up, whatever they had in the fridge at the office back then) for a while, but it doesn't sit well with me. Too much sugar, and what they put instead of sugar - the molasses (aka HFCS) or Monsanto's replacement poison - is worse.
What I drink when I am the designated driver is
cockta, because it's all natural stuff, rosehips, berries and plain sugar. No secret ingredients. But even that, I can't take more than one 0,25l bottle, perhaps two if we're sitting rather long. That's actually the only brown sugar water (read as brown+(sugar+water), as (brown+sugar)+water is not what I meant) that I can take.
Our youngest once threw a party (while still in the US) and there were two coke bottles left - one full, one half full (or, well, the rest of the definition). Both were delivered to the next party three weeks later, untouched.
