thanks for the response.

This is an idea to think about.

How does ODBC reacts if I cross the line number limits of Excel?

I also do not fill from top to bottom, sometimes I need to start from a specific cell (row and or col # 1)

One can think to fill a temp excel and then copy & paste via automation ...

I keep it as last resort :)
