Mike they might not match 100%. but there were several witnesses (including 4-5 of the same race as Brown) whose statements and testimony were consistent enough with the Wilson narrative.

Right now, Dorian Johnson couldn't be less credible. The media is suddenly jumping on the belief that his testimony was consistent with what he told investigators. But that still doesn't change the fact that Johnson initially claimed that Brown was shot in the back (leading to this highly specious "hands up, don't shoot" slogan), and then seriously back-tracked. He also claimed Brown never went for Wilson's gun, despite forensics and testimony to the contrary.

One could make the argument that Johnson could face charges for lying or obstruction of justice - though it would be very questionable judgment to go down that path.

I'm not saying I agree fully with Wilson's actions.
