The problem with LinkedIn, and other social networking Web sites, is that you need to search for a contact to be able to connect. On LinkedIn, the search is restricted to your 1st or 2nd level, which makes things more complicated. So, basically, you attend an event and talk to someone which you would like to add in your connections. So, you search. Then, is that you, is that you, is that you, etc. That is not something that is very efficient if you have limited time as you need to talk to other business contacts at the event.

So, basically, an app that will allow NFC support for LinkedIn so once we are within that 2 cm range, I could press an option to add. That will recognize the profile of the other person on his LinkedIn definition and will submit a request for connection. Thus, the other person only has to accept. That would take just five seconds.

LinkedIn offers some apps. But, I have not found one like that.
