A friend of mine from high school (a rather sick, demented, twisted friend....yes, hard to believe that I'd have friends like that) runs a rather morbid contest every year called the Dead Pool List. Obviously inspired by the movie
Each participant pays in $100 bucks by Jan 1 and predicts the untimely demise of 10 people. My friend is the "commish" of the game and reserves judgment on pics (i.e. you can't pick someone where it's rather obvious).
I've never played the game but I know he's been doing it for years.
Well, I just learned today that my friend, the Commish of the game, has me on the list. And he's currently tied with several other people. Which means if I meet an untimely demise before December 31st, he's going to have a good payday.
He and his brother just invited me out for dinner tomorrow night. Should I attend?
