A WebService I link to is "Discontinuing support for SSLv3 because of the SSLv3 POODLE vulnerability"

I connect to this service (and others) using

oXMlLink=CREATEOBJECT("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP.6.0")

I can't seem to find a definitive answer on if this would use SSLv3, does anyone know? or know how to find out for certain?
