>It's about time - the way we've dealt with Cuba has been really stupid for a really long time. I'm sure the republicans will have a field day with this one - they seem to have issues when Obama takes it upon himself to fix something. Heck he got millions of American's healthcare - pot is becoming legal - immigrants have a path to citizenship - eek eek what next? I'm waiting for Mitch 'looks like a turtle' McConnell to open his mouth so I can get a few good laughs in (ya know..prior to being disgusted with what he says..haha)

Re: Healthcare. When the employer mandate kicks in, an estimated 20 million people are likely to lose their insurance and get thrown onto the exchanges. Some will get better plans. Some will get worse plans. And some will probably get something similar to what they had.

And our experience with the exchanges has not been positive. We lost a plan that was OK...not great, not bad, but OK. We're now on plan #2 and both are substandard compared with what we had before. And in both instances we've had doctors and pediatricians no longer participating in what we believed was a "good" new plan.

What's that old doctor line? "First, do no harm". Ironic that ACA's mantra is the opposite.

I disagree with the "he got millions of Americans health care". He got them enrolled in pieces of paper that are often nearly worthless.
