You'd better Google "poll ACA mandate" - whatever script you're reading from is obsolete. Chicken Little has taken a drubbing- or as one pollster put it, "the more people know about the program, the more they like it."

The only person that I know personally who really likes it is a friend of mine who is poor as a church mouse. She gets a welfare check every month as well as food stamps. She loves Obamacare. She spent the last month going in and out of ER's for severe diverticulitis. She also had bladder surgery as well as a brand new set of upper teeth. What did she pay for all of this? Nothing. Nada. Bupkis. She thinks it is free. She doesn't realize that it isn't free - that I am helping to pay for all of this.

When I had my hip replaced, in spite of the fact that I pay a fortune for my insurance, it still did not cover everything. $1700 came out of my pocket. However, I would still rather have my insurance than the choices I have seen on the exchanges. If I went into the exchanges, I would be paying even more than I do now for health insurance and would have much much much larger deductibles.

I realize that this is anecdotal. However, I do not for one single minute believe that the polls are objective or a true indication of reality...
