Hi Michel,
We've used the Phdbase libary as is for distribution. My original licence included unlimited run-time provided it wasn't part of a retail package, that is for one-off development projects for clients.
Jim Korenthal hasn't been easily contactable for some time. Hallogram who now distribute Phdbase woudl probably take a much more commercial (read 'expensive') approach than Jim did. The only protection mechanism I'm aware of is the .msg file which I think shows a bmp when SET TALK is ON
