Seems that only 18 of the 28 EU member states use the euro...

Mixed feelings about it - I still miss lire, francs, deutchmark, kroner etc but it makes travelling in Europe much simpler.

Actually, thinking about it, I still miss the shilling, half-crown and thruppenny bit. And even the sovereign..
