>You were saying? ;-) I finally got to watch the game on the DVR after a lot of time over New Year's with a new GF. What a wild game. Not what I expected at all. I don't know if it was a matter of Ohio State's offense or Alabama's defense but the Buckeyes pushed them up and down the field. One of the announcers made a very good point. He said the Big Ten is not a speed conference, it's a strength conference, but Ohio State plays with SEC level speed. Call me pleasantly surprised. Maybe I shouldn't be so surprised. OSU has about a dozen guys who are going to be playing on Sundays. As does Alabama.

The Big 10 has definitely had an off year, but OSU's victory over an SEC team is certainly a big deal. I knew at some point all the SEC teams would eventually beat each other up.
Oregon is currently a 7.5 point favorite and I'll bet that number gets higher before the game. Oregon is just too much.
It's still exciting (and humbling) every year to get the renewal.
