>The function is cipher() which was created by Sergey Berezniker. I use this function in my VFP application to encrypt the password field. To make this field compatible with ASP.NET app I need to have this function. It is probably possible to write this function in C# but I don't have enough knowledge of C# to do it. This is why I thought that if I could create DLL or EXE with VFP (that has this function) I could then call it from ASP.NET.

This is for an ASP.NET application? Why not just use built in Forms Authentication capabilities?
