Hi Sergey,
Hi Dragan

I try to do this summarizing (@Dragan: we splice the thread? )

I write VFP data into an MS ACCESS database via ODBC
Customer uses this as datasource for his own purpouses.
This gives a kind of a snapshot of the real data for reporting etc.

I own no copy of MS ACCESS nor do I ever have dealed with it.

The field names defined are none-speaking, those are just my internals. Before they hade speaking like [Field "A" in %] what looks like some upsizing from EXCEL to ACCESS using my captions ...

There are speaking captions available

This is a larger number of fields, so the customer, who can handle the database with Access, is not happy to put the captions on the fields. There is some sort of caption or description for MS Access fields, I have no idea what.
Customer is not of much help, they are non IT folks. But they say there is some sort of information the enter so it apears on top of the colums, no matter how the column is named. Just like VFP table columns Caption property, if used in a DBC.

(Again I know nothing of MS ACCESS. I can handle some basic SQLs but that's it.)

So the question is how can I put captions on the fields in MS ACCESS

Best would be in VFP so I can do this internaly, but I think if can hand a ACCESS code snippet to the customer as well.
