I can't re-write my app with its 200+ reports to use listener for 1 customer, which may in turn affect 1,000's of other users. That's got disaster written all over it.
I already copy the report at runtime and scan through the records to make changes.
Without getting too much into the weeds on this, zapping the child cursor records presents a set of other problems; squeezing the detail band and/or object height to zero has no effect. The only thing that does seems to work is setting the pen+(red, green, blue) to 255. I think I'll go with that, and hope they continue to use white paper. Thanks for your help.
