>>>>>I have become semi-addicted to this show. Gordon Ramsey is sometimes brutal in his assessments of restaurants but if you are serious about your restaurant this is the kind of advice you want to hear. He does not mess around. I am not a restaurant insider but it rings true. On the last episode I watched he gave a chef hell for microwaving a leftover dish. The chef denied it and Gordon said don't give me that, it went through the microwave. The chef finally admitted it and said he wouldn't do it again. (Eyeballs rolling).

>>>>Nothing personal Mike, but how on earth can you stand that stuff. To me it's no different than any other "reality" attack show. For some odd reason, people enjoy tuning in to watch somebody either raked over the coals or simply just debased and embarrassed before the world. What is it about bullies that people find so entertaining?

>>>Have to throw some humor in here (though Alan, I generally agree with you)

>>>I HATE...absolutely HATE the concept of microwaving leftovers. Here's an example.

>>>Once every few weeks we get pizza from a really good pizza place. I'll eat a few slices and will want a few more the next day. I'll put the uneaten slices into one of the large sealable plastic storage bags and then stick it into the refrigerator. The next day I'll get it out and put it in the oven. What's missing here? No aluminum foil and no microwave. I'm with Gordon on that one :)

>>>I basically do the same thing when we make ziti.

>>I can't argue with that. Microwaved pizza turns into a rubbery kind of dog chew too quickly.

>Dogs have been around for thousands of years (LOL).

>As soon as I get a new girlfriend I will get a new dog. It's hard taking care of a dog by yourself. Yeah, a bulldog. I have a preference for solid animals. You break in here, you're going to get your butt chewed off

Believe it or not, I love bulldogs. I think they are beautiful creatures. I think it dates back to when I was very young (maybe 5 or 6 years old) and an aunt had one. He was a gem and I fell in love with him. I think though, if I were to ever own a dog (never have - to much work) it would probably be something like a Samoyed or a Malamute. talk about beautiful!
