I thought a .lnk to the file would be saved in the recent folder, but it wasn't. It seems to be created only when the app in charge of that file type is registered for that, wherever that may be. VFP surely isn't something that would use just a few filetypes and treat files as documents (i.e. open one at a time, or treat them independently if multiple were opened - and doubleclicking one of them ALWAYS launches new instance of VFP), so no .lnk was created whatever I tried.
