If I'm a commie, that's for purely selfish reasons: when the current rampant capitalism (embodied in redistribution upwards, sweatshops, wage slavery etc) exhausts its ways by which it still manages to fool the people, the people will rise. And then it's just about guaranteed that they'll hit wrong targets first, including me. Hence I'd rather like the current system be replaced with something which will delay the uprising for a few generations, thank you very much.

But this is about the two-faced policy of the west (i.e. Nato, banksters and whoever is pulling the strings): the jihadists were welcome in their bed when they were used to destabilize USSR, SFRY, well pretty much any european situation which wasn't to its liking. As soon as the task is done (there's no more USSR, the socialist Afghanistan is taliban, ah much better, SFRY became FRY became just Serbia sans its heart on Kosovo and Metohija, good), the jihadists remember their own agenda and buy more weapons with the money they got from the west for the tasks listed. I may sound like remembering too much, refusing to bend over and move on - but they haven't forgotten and also have not forgiven either. They are intent to exact some payment for the last few centuries of abuse, exploitation, humiliation and arrogance. To make it worse, they have a religion which claims secular power too - their agenda includes 2nd and 3rd class of citizenship, unity of the three pillars of power (spiritual, civil, judicial - all in the hands of clergy) and they aren't too much different from other monotheistic religions when they were of that age.

IOW, when we reacted to islamic expansion, we were bombed. West may now need to bomb itself.
